Room for Ruth is a non-profit organization that will provide a safe, sober and clean, temporary home to women who are sincerely seeking to rebuild, reorganize and reestablish their lives in our local community. Room For Ruth does not discriminate against race, color, religion, national origin or ancestry in our admission policy or service.

Once you have filled out and turned in the application for residency and the house rules agreement, our Board of Directors will complete a review process; this may take up to 10 days to complete. We may require a personal interview with you before making a determination. The information that you provide will be kept confidential. It is vital that you provide honest, clear, and detailed information in your application. Please provide extra information that you may feel is important to your position.

This is a four-month commitment on your part. The rules will be strictly yet fairly enforced. Lack of commitment and desire to succeed in this program will be cause for immediate termination from the program and discharge from the house. You will be required to do all you can to obtain employment with 30 days of starting the program. You will be required to pay program fees of $100.00 a week in order to remain in the program. Curfews, chore lists, and visitation limits will be in existence throughout the 4-months.

If you have questions about our program, please include those questions on a separate sheet of paper and attach them to your application. We will do all we can to address them in our responses to you.
